# Firmware Update

### <mark style="color:red;">After unboxing the product, please update the latest firmware using the PC Chrome app.</mark><br>

When the 5K is connected to the mobile app or Chrome app, it automatically checks the firmware version and proceeds with the update if necessary.

The binary file for firmware updates is built into the mobile and Chrome apps. Therefore, you must first update the app to the latest version to ensure you can update to the latest firmware version.

## Firmware Rollback

Sometimes, unexpected issues, such as compatibility problems, may occur with the latest firmware version, which could interfere with usage.

In such cases, you can revert to a previous firmware version. In the Chrome app's DEVICE TAB screen, click on the FW VERSION, and the screen below will appear. By clicking the button highlighted in red, the firmware update will proceed to the selected version.
