# System Force Reset

## Press and hold the orange button for 10 seconds.

If the T71 stops responding or freezes during use, please perform a forced reset by pressing and holding the orange button, as shown below.

The T71 has a built-in Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), and it includes a feature that automatically reboots or resets the system internally if there is no response for a certain period. If a system lock-up occurs due to a software error during use, the system will automatically reset after a set amount of time.

Most cases of the T71 being unresponsive are due to entering ‘[Factory ROM Booting Mode](/home/t71/getting-started/factory-rom-booting.md).’ Please be cautious when connecting via USB to avoid entering this mode.
